Indonesian Journal of Character Education Research (IJCER) was first published in 2023. Until now, the journal has published articles through a double-blind peer review system and open access to disseminate the state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of character and moral education. The journal is published twice a year (May and November). Indonesian Journal of Character Education Research (IJCER), Volume 1, Issue 1, May 2023 is the first edition. The management of the journal used an online system (Open Journal System / OJS). This journal is managed and published by Acedemia Edu Cendekia Indonesia.   

On August 21, 2023, the Indonesian Journal of Character Education Research (IJCER) was registered with International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 3021-8527 (online media). On September 01, 2023 it was registered with International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 3025-0250 (print media) by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
