Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Profesi Guru (JPPPG) was first published in 2023. Until now, the journal has published articles through a double-blind peer review system and open access to disseminate the state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of teacher professional education studies. The journal is published twice a year (January , May and September). Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Profesi Guru (JPPPG), Volume. 1, Issue, January 2023 is the first edition. The management of the the journal used an online system (Open Journal System (OJS). This journal is managed and published by Acedemia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AECI).

On March 21, 2024, the Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Profesi Guru (JPPPG) was registered with International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 3046-6962 (online media). On March 25, 2024 it was registered with International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 3046-8396 (print media) by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
