The Effect of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) and Individual Learning Model on Social Science Learning Outcomes of Junior High School Students
Abstract
School is the main part of education that is present to prepare a quality generation, a generation that is able to continue the ideals of the nation in a better direction. This study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model with an individual learning model and on social studies learning outcomes in junior high school students. This research uses a type of pre-experimental research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Batujajar in the 2021/2022 school year. The data collection process is through pre-test and post-test. The results of the research conclusion show that the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model and individualized learning model has an influence on the learning outcomes of Social Studies in junior high school students. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts in providing learning so that students can achieve good learning outcomes. The contribution of research as information for teachers and further researchers both theoretically and practically regarding the effect of the CIRC learning model with individualized learning models on students' Social Studies learning outcomes.References
