Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is what forms of character values in the Tabot tradition are studied in learning Islamic cultural history in class xi man 1 Bengkulu city and how the implementation of the Tabot tradition in ski learning in class xi man 1 Bengkulu city. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of character values in the Tabot tradition studied in the subject of Islamic cultural history at man 1 Bengkulu city. The research methodology uses a case study case study. This research was conducted in 2021 at MAN 1 Bengkulu City. The subjects of this research were 11th grade students at MAN 1 Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques through observation, interview, documentation. Data analysis through the process of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. Testing the validity of data using triangulation techniques, sources and time. The results of the study concluded that (1) Character values in the Tabot tradition are fused with the Applicable curriculum; (2) Tabot tradition values are inserted through Hidden Curriculum (hidden curriculum); (3) Character values in the Tabot tradition are fused with extracurricular activities. The contribution of this research is as a source of scientific information about the values of character education in the tabot tradition in the subject of Islamic cultural history in Islamic senior high school.
